Leda Kane was a Rand Protectorate citizen and the wife of Jared Kane. In 2004, she took care of Daniel Jackson when the latter was badly wounded after the bombing of the Rand capital by the Caledonian Federation's missiles. She died of the Ori plague in 2005 after she refused to embrace Origin.
