Orion is a constellation located in the Milky Way galaxy. It is also one of the 39 symbols used on the Milky Way Stargate in order to dial Stargate addresses.

Stargate (1995)

Dr. Daniel Jackson discovers that the symbols on the Giza cartouche are not an ancient writing but constellations when he sees a newspaper with the constellation of Orion on the front page. Grouped by seven, they serve to determine a destination in space trough a device called Stargate.
