Usage

This subtemplate is transcluded in the {{Appearance navbox}} template and its subnavboxes to define the appearance type of a character or a subject in an episode/film and its associated property.

This template should not be used directly.

Syntax

Parameters

There is only one mandatory parameter. It defines the appearance type inside an episode/film and put the associated semantic property according to this parameter. Here are the different possible values:

Value Property Items Usage
m Main character of Characters To be used for the characters whom the actors are part of the main credits (poster for the films, main credit sequence for the series.
s, su, se Supporting character of Characters To be used for the characters whom the actors follow the main credit sequence (outside ending credtis) or are declared as "also starring" in the series.
re Recurring character of Characters To be used for the characters whom the actors are mentioned with a "Guest Starring" in the series and who appear regularly during a series' season.
os, one shot One shot character of Characters To be used for the characters whom the actors are mentioned with a "Guest Starring" in the series and who appear only one time during a series' season.
mi Minor character of Characters To be used for the characters whom the actor's name appear (or not) only in the ending credits.
y, t Appears in All subjects but the characters To be used if the item appears in the film/episode.
me, mention Mentioned in All subjects and the characters To be used if the item or character is mentioned only in the film/episode.
photo Picture only in Characters To be used if we see a character on a picture but there is no mention of him in the film/episode.
voice Voice only in Characters To be used if we only hear the character in the film/episode without seeing him.
del, sup Appears in deleted scenes of All subjects and the characters To be used if a character or a subject appears only in the deleted scenes of a film/episode.
flash, flashback Flashback only in All subjects and the characters To be used if a character or a suject appears only in flashbacks of a film/episode.
