Character's evolution

Stargate (1995)

In Cheyenne Moutain complex[1] sub-level 28, Doctor Gary Meyers and Barbara Shore meet Doctor Daniel Jackson. They reach a room where a a big coverstone is standing. When Jackson analyses the coverstone, Meyers says there are two hieroglyphics lignes, the inner line is from classic shape, but the outer line is like the center cartouche, with scripture they never seen before. Jackson replies it's not hieroglyphs, but some sort of cuneiform scripture.

Then Jackson sees a black bord with a translation on it. He begins to correct the translation, protesting as they used Budge. Meyers tells him they used all known translation methods. As Jackson continues to correct the translation, he asks who did this. Meyers, confused, replies he did. When Colonel Jack O'Neill takes command of Project Giza, Meyers asks Catherine Langford what's going on. Langford replies she's not sure and goes to see O'Neill.

Two weeks later, Meyers, Shore, and many military are in the meeting room where Jackson states his discorvery that the seven symbols (which are constellations) are needed to make interplanetary travels, six points for the destination, and one point of origin. Meyers states there are only six symbols inside the cartouche. Then Jackson shows that this symbol is under the cartouche, representing a small pyramid pointing to the sky and small people worshipping it. Then Meyers replies there is no such symbol on the device.

In the control room, Meyers orders to set the monitors active. He asks Mitch to show details on the main monitor. When Jackson finds the symbol, Meyers replies that It was in front of them the whole time. Johnson asks Meyer to record all informations from the Stargate.
