Colonel Makepeace is a member of the US Marine Corps assigned to Stargate Command in 1997. Commander of the SG marine team SG-3, he has been put in charge of SG-1 in 1999 when Colonel Jack O'Neill "screwed himself" regarding Tollan technology. He has been revealed to be a mole working for a NID rogue branch thanks to O'Neill and put under arrest for crime against the United States and their allies.
