Teal'c was an alternate version or Teal'c from an alternate reality and still First Prime of Apophis when the latter decided to invade and conquer Earth in 1997. He has been killed when the SGA's self destruct system exploded.

Biography

The background of this alternate Teal'c is quite the same than the main reality Teal'c, yet it changed during February 1997, as he didn't have the chance to meet people from Earth on Chulak to change his mind (SG1: "There But For the Grace of God").

Character's evolution

"There But For the Grace of God" (1997)

Soon after Apophis' mothership landed on Cheyenne Mountain top, Teal'c leads the attack inside the SGA facility, disabling some surveillance systems and eventually installing a Goa'uld cannon.

Later, Brigadier General Jack O'Neill comes in to negotiate and speaks to Teal'c, showing the video footage filmed by Dr. Daniel Jackson with another Teal'c, Colonel Jack O'Neill and Captain Samantha Carter exploring a complex on P3R-233. O'Neill tries and almost manages to change Teal'c's mind regarding the Goa'uld, yet when he's mentioning Drey'auc and Rya'c, Teal'c's mood changes and he tells O'Neill he received news from Chulak; O'Neill sent a nuclear bomb through the Stargate earlier, killing everybody, including his wife and son on the planet. Teal'c then walks to the cannon and fires it at blank point on O'Neill.

Later again, Teal'c fires on a blast door to access the Stargate room, and find Dr. Daniel Jackson ready to jump in the open Stargate. He hesitates, yet fires on Jackson with his Staff weapon, wounding Jackson in the process. Seconds later, as he hears the self destruct device's countdown, he is eventually killed by the blast.

Notes

  • This version of Teal'c had a similar mind and opinion than the main reality counterpart about the Goa'uld being false gods. Yet he hadn't the chance to meet people from Earth capable to change his mind. Thus, he remained loyal to Apophis with the rank of First Prime.
  • Teal'c is carrying a big tied braid at the top of his shaved head and is not bald like the main reality counter part.
