Amanda Perry was a brilliant quadriplegic scientist from Earth, specialist in hyperdrive. She was physically killed by Simeon in 2009 when she switched her consciousness with Ginn throught the Tau'ri long range communication terminal. However, her consciousness remained and came to surface in 2010, but she eventually has been permanently quarantined by Eli Wallace (with Ginn's consciousness) in order to save Nicholas Rush whom consciousness was prisoner of Destiny's database.
