When Vala Mal Doran checks all possible questions that may be asked during her psychatric assessment, she asks the following to General Hank Landry: "You are in the desert. You see a tortoise lying on his back in the hot sun. You recognize his plight but do nothing to help. Why? Hmm. Why?". Then she writes on the computer; "Because…you…are…also…a tortoise." This question is part of the different question of the Voight-Kampff test used by the Blade Runners to identify the subject as a Replicant.
