Jon P. Mooers was a scenic artist. He worked as scenic supervisor in the 1994 feature film Stargate.
Biography
From 1990 to 1996, Mooers has worked in several cinema and television movie, including the 1990 TV movie Psycho IV: The Beginning (with Mark Zuelzke as crew), the 1991 film Missing Pieces (with Mark Zuelzke as crew), the 1992 film The Hand That Rocks the Cradle (with Mark Zuelzke as crew), the 1993 films CB4 (with Gary Scott as crew) andPosse, the 1995 film Money Train (with Clare Scarpulla as crew), the 1996 film Independence Day (with Jay Acovone, Sayed Badreya, Steve Giannelli, Jack Moore, David Pressman, John Storey, Derek Webster as cast, and Frank Bollinger, Gary Camp, Mick Cukurs, Robert Dunne, Mark Eggenweiler, Jim Erickson, J. Gregory Evans, Peter Krause, Wendy Murray, Joseph Porro, Peter Mitchell Rubin, Gary Scott, John Weiss, Jr., Victor Zolfo as crew), and the 1996 TV movie Soul of the Game (with Salli Richardson-Whitfield as cast, and Chris Haarhoff as crew). He stopped working for the entertainment industry after 1996.
On December 1, 2012, Mooers opened a gallery in Amesbury to show local artists' paint work.[1] He closed the gallery one year later due to the lack of sales.[2]
