Biography
Maryann Wallace worked as nurse. When her son Eli was 14, she has been contaminated by HIV when she tried to restrain a drug addict who had an infected needle. Her husband could't face the situation and left home, leaving her and Eli alone. She lost her medical coverage and, with an unemployed Eli, had to take a second job as a waitress to be able to pay her medical treatment (SGU: "Air", Part 1, "Time").
Character's evolution
Notes
- On the official MGM Stargate website, Maryann Wallace's character is spelled "Marian Wallace". "Maryann Wallace" would be preferred as it is the name appearing in the ending credits each time.
- Even if Maryann Wallace appears regularly throughout the series, the character is considered a minor because Glynis Davies' name only appears in the ending credits of each related episode.
Behind the scenes
- Glynis Davies has already portrayed two characters in Stargate SG-1; A mid-forties Catherine Langford in "1969", and Andari Federation Ambassador Noor in "Homecoming".
