Stargate
In 1995, Catherine Langford gets in Park Plaza Hotel to see a young archeologist, Doctor Daniel Jackson, leading a symposium on Ancient Egypt in the hotel Alameda Room. This meeting is supposed to last two hours. Here, Jackson is humiliated by his pairs when he states that the Pharaohs of the Fourth Dynasty did not build the Great Pyramids.
Soon after, he's just in front of the main entrance, under a heavy rain. Catherine Langford offers him a translation job and gives him travels plans.
