The Park Plaza Hotel is a luxury hotel located in Los Angeles, California.

This luxury hotel holds some rooms where meetings and seminaries can occur.

In 1995, Catherine Langford gets in Park Plaza Hotel to see a young archeologist, Doctor Daniel Jackson, leading a symposium on Ancient Egypt in the hotel Alameda Room. This meeting is supposed to last two hours. Here, Jackson is humiliated by his pairs when he states that the Pharaohs of the Fourth Dynasty did not build the Great Pyramids.

Soon after, he's just in front of the main entrance, under a heavy rain. Catherine Langford offers him a translation job and gives him travels plans.
