Lieutenant Colonel (abreviated Lt Col) is a military rank used among most of the Tau'ri armies, especially in the US military.
Overview
This rank is used among the US Air Force and the US Marine Corps. In the US military, this rank is between the Major and the Colonel ranks. Usually, a military with this rank is referred as "Colonel".
