Tell me who is this Tian. There is no dialogue mentioning his name and his name is not written in the episode visible ending credits. It may be Chris Redmond who portrays this character yet according to me, the character's name is only speculation. If I see, this name only appears in IMDb credits, and as uncredited. You know, that's weird. According to IMDb, Christopher Redmond has only portrayed three minor characters including "Icon". Moreover, only an archived version of the Sci-Fi website mentions this character positionned above official aired minor episode credits with the name of "Chris Redmond". I think they put the name on IMDb according the Sci-Fi website. We cannot find any picture of this actor on the internet. Conclusion; I cannot take for granted what Stargate Wikia wrote on this character. Unless you have seen the two other movies with him and match the actor, this character would have to change its name, as well the name of the actor. Soldier (Children of the Gods II)

For the record, I noticed interesting thing, in original version when both soldiers are shot they made same scream, probably filmmakers used same sound mix, yet in final cut this is fixed and each have different one. :-)

2. BTW: In Icon as Rand Guards were uncredited: Darren Hird, Raoul Ganeev (Survived attack on Rand Capital along with our Tian and later they take bunked back with SG Teams) and Giorgio Miyashita (All we know is he was added to scene where bunker is re-taken only to be shot by rebels).

It seems not. I have a high definition image of the picture of him in 2003 in the Battlestar Galactica pilot episode. He seems to be older than "Icon" which has been shot in 2004 meaning later than the BSG pilot. Hair don't suppose to grow back ;-) --LIMAFOX76 (talk) 09:24, 10 January 2017 (CST)

Hi, I thought at this moment it was the wrong guy, but I was wrong. The second reason is the format, PNG. I think it's better to use JPG files with a small compression ratio even if this file format is more destructive. You gain place and space on the disk. I only have all episodes in DVD screen resolution (maximum resolution 1024x576p). So if you still have this episode in high definition and use VLC Media, save your screenshot in "jpg" format, crop it at the format 1:1.25 and replace the picture; be my guest. Pernaux shot by guard(s) - details

Hi, I know we were talking about this but I have some q which I wonder, even in case it is not important.

1. We can see only one muzzle flash coming from weapon of Guard IV, yet sound mix make us hear shower of bullets.

2. We never see Guard III fire. He just point weapon against Pernaux, but visible muzzle flash came only from Guard IV's weapon. I was told that if Guard III fire, there would be at least smoke coming from weapon but in fact there's nothing.

3. Now as Guard IV raise his weapon, we can safely assume that he is one who shot Pernaux in shoulder.

4. The Guard III meanwhile slightly lower weapon but it still isn't enough to shot him in leg.

5. Pernaux is shot in leg and next frame in shoulder.

6. The Guard III wouldn't have time shot Pernaux after his teammate and sent his bullet to Pernaux's leg yet before Guard IV did in shoulder.

The whole sequence is sloppy.

Hi Matthew,
What you tell in those six points are not incoherences, it is what we call "goofs", meaning some kind of mistakes wanted or not, put on screen because of the many steps needed to make a movie or a series' episode. You say that this sequence is sloppy, you're right. Many reasons for that are the cost, the time (20 episodes per year + Stargate Atlantis, etc.). For the story itself, it's not important as it brings nothing interesting to move on (as I told you before). Yet one can notify it but not in the incoherences pages. For that you can create a "Goofs" section on the episode page, based on the template you can find here for instance. And please, do it yourself, it's the reason for being of a wiki. According to the script and the first images, SG-10 was already on the planet to investigate why the local population was extinct recently, and at the moment they were on the planet, the black hole appeared (first images). Boyd was a military and certainly a scientist for, like Jack O'Neill said, he reminds him a little bit of Carter. Regarding the promo image, too yellow and the definition is not so good (the head is smaller with a 200x250 crop). I will work on your last shot with Photoshop to tune it.
