Character's evolution
"Morpheus" (2006)
Ackerman is walking with SG-1 in the Vagonbrei's forest, complaining to Cameron Mitchell about being awake for 18 hours straight.
Later, inside a cavern, Mitchell wakes up Ackerman who was starting to sleep. Later again, Ackerman is found asleep on a chair, once again Mitchell tries to wake him up, with no success this time. He is not in a coma as he responds to all stimuli. Analysis of his blood shows that he has been infected like the rest of the crew. Some moment after, Ackerman dies in his slumber.
Later, Dr. Reimer makes an autopsy on Ackerman and removes a parasite that absorbed a huge amount of melatonin, the hormone responsible of the sleepiness. This parasite provoked a lethal aneurysm.
