John 'Bear' Curtis (April 28, 1948 — December 18, 2007)[1] was an actor. He portrayed a primitive man in the Stargate SG-1 pilot, "Children of the Gods".
Biography
Curtis has worked in security for many years in local Canadian concert. He was also a musician.[1] He worked as an actor in some films and TV shows, including MacGyver (with Robert Ackerman, Richard Dean Anderson, Marilyn Chin, Erik Holland as cast, and Charles E. Robichaud, Michael Eliot as crew), Wiseguy (with Marilyn Chin, Cecil Hoffman as cast), Stargate SG-1, Cold Squad (with Sean Amsing, Christine Kennedy, Santo Lombardo, D. Neil Mark, Anne Openshaw, Kurt Max Runte as cast, and Charles E. Robichaud as crew), The Commish (with Jay Acovone, Kurt Max Runte as cast), the 1992 film North of Pittsburgh (with Viveca Lindfors as cast), Madison (with Sean Amsing, Anthony Ashbee, Aaron Dudley as cast), M.A.N.T.I.S. (with Derek Webster as cast), The Outer Limits (with John Diehl, Christine Kennedy, D. Neil Mark, Zoran Vukelic as cast), Viper (with Jay Acovone as cast), and Cold Squad (with Sean Amsing, Christine Kennedy, Santo Lombardo, D. Neil Mark, Anne Openshaw, Kurt Max Runte as cast, and Charles E. Robichaud as crew). Masters of Horror marks his last television appearance.
