Sub-level 28 is an underground level inside the Cheyenne Mountain complex. This level, part of Stargate Command contains the Stargate itself.
Overview
This level seems to be the lowest level inside the Cheyenne Mountain complex. This level is the most important as it contains the Stargate embarkation room, the Stargate operation room, and the Self-destruct control room.

Notes
- The sub-level 28 is also seen in the featured movie despite the fact that the location isn't the same (Creek Mountain). However, as a retcon, the location hasn't changed (SG1: "Children of the Gods", dialog between Jack O'Neill and an officer).
- There is only one elevator in the movie, but there are two in the series, one from the surface to sub-level 11, an other for the rest of the route.
- In the Stargate canon, sub-level 28 is the lowest level. However, in the movie, we can see a lift button called "29" when Kawalsky push the "28" button.
