The guide was a Rand Protectorate museum guide, guardian of the Great Ring of Avidan.
Character's evolution
"Icon" (2004)
The guide is introducing the Great Ring of Avidan to a group of people visiting the Rand Protectorate museum. When he talks about the history and legends regarding the Stargate, its inner ring is spinning and the gate activates to their very much surprise. Then a MALP gets out the puddle and approches the group.
