Doctor Carson Beckett was a medical doctor specialized in genetic, head of Atlantis medical service since 2004. He has made some genetic breakthroughs, especially on Ancient Technology Activation gene or the iratus bug retrovirus. He died on 2006 because of an explosion caused by an Ancient unstable tumor he removed surgically from Dr. Watson, saving his life.
