Val was a member of the team who worked in the Icarus base. In 2009, she had to evacuate the base when it was attacked by Lucian Alliance and was stranded aboard Ancient spaceship Destiny. After she chose to settle on a luxurious planet, she died when a tree falled on her on the planet.
Biography
Val was part of the 80+ people who evacuated the Icarus base when it was attacked by Lucian Alliance forces. Stranded aboard Destiny, she chose to settle on a luxurious young planet with a small group of people, and named it "Eden".[1] There, she started a romantic relationship with Peter, but she was killed by accident when he cut a tree that fell on Val's head. Her body was resurrected along with his companions in misery's, and put inside a restored like new shuttle (SGU: "Air", Part 1, "Faith", "Visitation").

Notes
- Even if Camille Sullivan appears starting from "Visitation", it is supposed that Val was part of the Destiny expedition before the evacuation of the Icarus base and that she chose to remain with the group of Robert Caine on planet Eden.
