Curtis was a Sergeant of the US Marine Corps, assigned to the Icarus base. In 2009, he had to evacuate the base and was stranded in the Ancient spaceship Destiny with 80+ people. He has been missing in action soon after when he passed through the Stargate to reach an unknown planet with Andre Palmer.
