  • Charlie O'Neill, Colonel Jack O'Neill's son, accidentally shoots himself with O'Neill's personal gun. He dies in the hospital soon after his admission. O'Neill sinks into depression, and is eventually deactivated from US Air Force duty.

  1. 1.0 1.1 As a recton, events of the movie (released in october 1994) have been recalled in autumn 1995 to fit Stargate SG-1's calendar, i.e. "Children of the Gods"' events occuring in February 1997 (SG1: "Politics") and the first Abydos mission occuring over a year before, according to General Hammond's statement.
