This episode is a cross-over with some Stargate Atlantis characters: Dr. Rodney McKay (played by David Hewlett) and Richard Woolsey (played by Robert Picardo).

Behind the scenes

Victor Garber, who plays Ambassador Ovirda, is well known for the character of Thomas Andrews in the 1997 James Cameron's blockbuster Titanic.
