Character's evolution
Stargate (1995)
Reilly is part of the recon team for the new found planet which coordinates were discovered by Dr. Daniel Jackson. He passes through the Stargate's wormhole and starts doing recon under Colonel O'Neill's orders.
During the building of the base camp, Reilly, as well as Freeman trie to calm down an upset Ferretti, who complains to be stuck here.
When a sandstorm is raising on the planet, Reilly ask Freeman, Porro and Ferretti to fold back to the pyramid. Reilly suggest to turn the gate on themselves. Ferretti replies back that they could materialize in the vacuum of outer space.
Later, trying to defend themselves against an unknown enemy, Reilly is knocked out and dragged away.
When O'Neill is throwned inside the Ra's mothership pit, Reilly's body lays at the surface of the water.[1] After Kawalsky's report of the situation, O'Neill turns back and sees the body.
Notes
- Reilly has been knocked out, yet we don't see his body later in the movie. He is considered as MIA.
- Reilly's rank is visible on his fatigues's sleeves just before he passes through the Stargate.
- Reilly is credited as "Lieutenant" in the movie's ending credits (the same for all O'Neill's team members), yet the visible rank on his fatigues is Airman First Class.
- ↑ This assessment is based on the fact that some small sleeves are visible on screen. On previous images, Porro had only a jacket without sleeve and Reilly had a T-shirt with small sleeves. This is a logical decuction.
