Character's evolution

"The Broca Divide" (1997)

Lt Johnson is briefed by Major General George Hammond about the next mission with SG-1. With SG-3, they would defend the team when they will recon P3X-797, a planet which its address has been found thanks to the refugees of Chulak. He glares at Teal'c quite weirdly.

Later on the planet, Colonel Makepeace orders Johnson to spread out while they found a group of primitives who attacked SG-1 earlier.

Back to the SGC to report back, Johnson behaves strangely and starts to threaten then assault Teal'c, who subdues him. When Hammond asks him what's going on, his mouth foams. Later, Doctor Janet Fraiser shows Johnson who has been isolated to Colonel Jack O'Neill. His face has evolved to a primitive one. He has been infected by a virus on the planet.

Once healed from the disease, Johnson resumes duty and comes back to the planet with his team to retreive Daniel Jackson.
