Biography

Mike is the father of Sara O'Neill and grand-father of the late Charlie. Mike's background is not known. One thing is that Charlie used to laugh everytime Mike made a bad joke. He also has an old car that he really cares about (SG1: "Cold Lazarus").

Character's evolution

"Cold Lazarus" (1997)

Mike came to Winter Park and brought his car to Sara O'Neill who's looking on the engine. Sara tells her father that this "old thing" has seen better days.

Later, when a duplicate version of Jack O'Neill asks Sara to see Charlie and makes her upset, Mike tells "O'Neill" that upseting a woman is a stupid way to conquer her heart. Seeing O'Neill's wondering attitude, Mike invites him to get inside the house. When they reach Charlie's bedroom, Mike tells "O'Neill" that parents shouldn't outlive their children. They talk about Charlie, and Mike tells him if he sees around all Charlie's stuff, he might find him in a way. He also warns "O'Neill" in the case he came to break her heart again.

Later, in the living room, Sara and "O'Neill" try to have a discussion together when "O'Neill" notices some smocke around. Sara realises that Mike left a casserole on the fire for her.

Notes

  • Mike's last name is not known.
  • "Mike" is only pronounced once by Sara O'Neill. It doesn't appear anywhere in the credits.
