The People of the river is a tribe living on Simarka.
Overview
Nothing is knwow about this tribe, except the fact that they are living near a river (SG1: "Emancipation").
Detailled evolution
When Abu of the Shavadai is freed from the dogs by SG-1, Daniel Jackson introduces the team to him. Then Abu assumes that they are not from the people of the river.
