This Shavadai, from planet Simarka, has been used as a lab rat to test an anesthetic created by Abu.

Biography

In 1997, when SG-1 arrive on planet Simarka, they meet this Shavadai who has been wounded during a recent skirmish. His shoulder has been badly burned by a fire arrow. Abu, son of Moughal, has tested on him a drug made of plants. Since the begining of the treatment, this man feeled no pain at all (SG1: "Emancipation").

Character's evolution

"Emancipation" (1997)

In the Shavadai camp, Abu shows to Colonel Jack O'Neill, Dr. Daniel Jackson and Teal'c the effects of a new medicine on a villager. The latter has been hit by a fire arrow during a skirmish and his shoulder has been badly burned. Abu tells SG-1 that, when he started the treatment, there was no pain anymore and the wound started to heal as there was no burn anymore.
